Families looking for a nanny must receive services from a legal firm to avoid future grievances. Firms that charge a 50% commission from you and 50% from the employee are illegal firms.
Families receiving services from an illegal firm will be fined 170,903TL according to Article 20a of Law No. 4904 (Receiving services from those who mediate job and worker placement without permission).
Additionally, the firm providing this mediation will also be fined 341,809TL according to Article 20c of Law No. 4904 (Charging fees from job seekers / obtaining benefits). Families must be very careful about these matters.nanny.

What is a Private Employment Agency?
It refers to offices established by real or legal persons authorized by the Institution to mediate the placement of job seekers in suitable jobs and to find suitable workers for various jobs and/or to carry out temporary employment relationships.

What activities can private employment agencies engage in?
Private employment agencies;
• Engage in job and worker placement activities,
• Can provide services related to the labor market, employment, and human resources,
• Can organize vocational training,
• Can establish temporary employment relationships if authorized.
Mediation activities can be provided through face-to-face meetings with job seekers or employers at a workplace and/or without meetings using the tools specified in the Press Law No. 5187 dated 9/6/2004, or through one of the broadcasting tools such as radio, television, video, internet, cable broadcasting, or electronic information communication tools and similar broadcasting tools.
What is the amount of the guarantee letter?
The guarantee for the private employment agency license is 660,600TL for the year 2026.
For the year 2026, it is 43,481.19TL. The cost for renewing the license within the specified period is determined as 25,981.45TL.
