Every parent wants to raise healthy and well-behaved children. One of the most important factors in preparing children for education is nutrition. Since children are constantly on the move, they expend energy and get hungry. Nowadays, most families give their children pocket money instead of preparing nutritious meals for them. Children tend to buy whatever they want, meaning they often choose junk food. This disrupts children's eating habits. Therefore, in order for our children to succeed in their education, we must ensure that we prepare regular and balanced meals for them on a daily basis. When children are given pocket money, they may purchase foods with low nutritional value. Especially in school canteens, products that threaten health, such as hamburgers, chips, and soda, are sold. By obtaining food from canteens, children are unconsciously negatively affecting their health. To protect your children from these harmful foods, you should prepare meals for them instead of giving them pocket money. In our country, it is common to give pocket money to children instead of preparing meals after the 4th grade. However, nutrition is not something that can be skipped in stages. Parents should keep this in mind and continuously prepare meals for their children with high nutritional value. Nutrition is of great importance for our children's personal and mental development. For this reason, regardless of their age, you must prepare meals for them.
