How to Prevent Mental Fatigue

Mental fatigue or brain fatigue is a problem characterized by symptoms such as inability to focus, frequent small forgetfulness, difficulty in perception, and inability to concentrate. Brain fatigue is a common issue among working individuals and can be alleviated or eliminated through certain methods. If you think you have such a problem, you should not ignore the situation. If you do not take the necessary precautions, the severity of the problem will increase over time. We have listed some things to do to prevent brain fatigue for you:

Eat a balanced and healthy diet, do not skip meals

Eating healthy is one of the greatest favors you can do for yourself. It helps your body resist diseases, keeps your skin looking vibrant and healthy, and also ensures that your mind works better, strengthens your memory, and increases your energy and productivity. Do not neglect to consume food items that contain vitamins B, C, and E. Eat a handful of seedless raisins daily. Consume fish frequently. Eat one apple a day. Pineapple is a fruit rich in vitamin C and helps keep the brain alert. Keep cloves with you and when you feel your brain is very tired during the day, pop one in your mouth and chew it. You may also prefer to drink clove tea. Almonds contain beneficial components for brain health. Stay away from sugar and sugary foods. You may think you perform quite well on an empty stomach, but making a habit of skipping important meals will harm you in the long run. Have your main meals at the right times and in the necessary manner. Your breakfasts should be hearty, and your dinners should be light.

Spend time on yourself, your hobbies, and your loved ones

Try to leave work at work and avoid thinking about work-related matters outside of working hours. You may not always be able to do this; there may be a problem or an urgent task that needs to be completed. However, you should not make it a habit to engage with work outside of working hours.

Dedicate time to things you enjoy doing or learning personally. This will make you happy, help you feel good, and positively affect your productivity in your work life.

Never neglect family members, friends, and loved ones. Share things with them, make the visits you need to make. Such social interactions that entertain, relax, and provide spiritual pleasure also help the brain to distance itself from the problems of work life and to rest.

Exercise / Do not remain inactive

Take walks whenever possible. Do stretching exercises and simple gymnastic movements for 10-15 minutes at home each day. If you work at a desk in the office or at home, get up and move around occasionally, and do desk exercises.

Discharge the electromagnetic load in your body

There are thoughts that the waves emitted by electronic devices lead to the accumulation of electrostatic charge in the body. This situation causes stress and fatigue.

-Make contact with the ground

Working with soil, spending time on the ground, and walking barefoot on the ground reduce the effects of the load imposed on the body by the electromagnetic waves emitted by televisions, mobile phones, electrical appliances, and computers.

-Take a shower every evening

This is one of the ways to cleanse the body of electromagnetic waves. Water is a conductor and helps discharge electrical charge. Even holding your hands in water during the day is effective in this regard. Taking a shower every evening also helps you feel lighter and sleep more comfortably.
