Positive thinking or optimistic thinking is not just about playing Pollyanna or always looking at the glass half full, do you know that? Positive thinking encompasses all the items you see below, and there is an undeniable relationship between thinking this way and success.
Characteristics of positive thinking:
*It is open to growth and change, can adapt to rapid changes without wasting time. (You should not confuse this with being principled or acting without principles, or changing direction according to the wind. What is meant is the flexibility to act according to developments related to the effort put into a subject and the target to be reached.)
*It can go beyond memorized patterns.
*It can generate alternatives in any situation.
*It is solution-oriented.
*It enables seeing the small lights within difficult situations.
*It provides the ability to make quick decisions.
As for the relationship between positive thinking and success; you will appreciate that a brain that thinks in the way we defined above will lead a person to a better place than a brain that thinks negatively, which seeks darkness even in beauty, let alone seeing light in troubles. A positively thinking person is self-confident, believes that they can produce good things and reach their goals. Moreover, they do not give up immediately in the face of obstacles on the way to their goals, nor do they fall into despair. They do not immediately accept that solutions are exhausted (Of course, there are such situations in life.) but seek solutions, trying one if the other does not work. In short; they do not give up without using all their capacity. On the other hand, they do not waste time insisting on things they know they cannot change.
Think about it this way: You want to learn English. Is your likelihood of learning higher if you believe it is very difficult, that you are late to start, and that you are not inclined to learn a foreign language; or if you think that if you take the time and work, you can indeed achieve something? If you do not believe in yourself in this regard, even starting to work will be a problem. Because a person is not willing to spend time on something they do not believe they can do. However, someone who believes they can learn will, if necessary, sleep 15 minutes less, cut down on the hours spent in front of the TV or computer, and will do whatever it takes; at least they will try. They do not accept failure without even trying. Someone who sets aside a little time to work regularly and shows effort will definitely learn something, even if it is little. Seeing this motivates the person, and if they have come this far, they think they can take one more step forward. And if they continue to work, they will indeed go further. This is the result of positive thinking and believing in oneself.
Positive thinking does not guarantee success, but it definitely strengthens the likelihood of success. It increases the fighting spirit. It gives a person the ability to think freely and look at events from a broad perspective. It expands their social circle; because people need positively thinking individuals, their presence gives them morale and strength. And do not forget; thanks to this aspect of yours, the expansion of your circle means more doors opening in front of you and more opportunities arising. If opportunities increase, the likelihood of success also increases, right?
